Cerrado - Brazilian Savanna

Currently, I'm a doing a short-term research visit at the EASI Lab, University of Bayreuth, Germany.

I am an Ecologist and Data Scientist at the Department of Ecology, Institute of Biosciences, University of São Paulo (IB-USP), Brazil.

I recently finished my Ph.D. in Ecology at the Laboratory of Theoretica Ecology of Dr. Paulo Inácio Prado at the same department.

I have been working in research projects involving  community ecology, landscape ecology, demography and forest ecology, mostly using a data driven approach.

I am an enthusiast of the Open Science movement, and I'm interested also in ecological modelling and statistics.
