Cerrado - Brazilian Savanna

Currently, I'm a Postdoctoral researcher at the Theoretical Ecology group, University of Regensburg, Germany. I'm working on the project "Increasing the validity of statistical analysis with DHARMa", especially on generalized linear (mixed-effects) model's diagnostic. I'm co-developing the R package DHARMa.

I have been working in scientific projects involving forest ecology, tree demography,  community ecology & landscape ecology. All of them using a data-driven and statistical modeling approach.

I have been teaching R and computational tools for Open Science. I'm an enthusiast of the Open Science movement, reproducibility, open data and fair open publications (I'm a moderator/editor at the EcoEvoRxiv preprint).
